Canadian lawmakers give a standing ovation to a man introduced as a war hero, later discover he served in Nazi unit.

September 25, 2023 – Information Clearing House In a major embarrassment for Ottawa, the Canadian lawmakers gave a standing ovation to a man who was introduced as a war hero after Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s address in the House of Commons only to later realise that he had served in a Nazi unit during World War II.

The speaker of Canada’s House of Commons apologized Sunday for recognizing 98-year-old Yaroslav Hunka as a “Ukrainian hero” before the Canadian Parliament. Hunka served in World War II as a member of the 14th Waffen Grenadier Division of the SS, according to a Jewish human rights group that demanded an apology.

“In my remarks following the address of the President of Ukraine, I recognized an individual in the gallery. I have subsequently become aware of more information which causes me to regret my decision to do so,” Rota said in a statement.

Rota took responsibility for what was characterized as an oversight, calling the initiative “entirely my own.”

“I wish to make clear that no one, including fellow parliamentarians and the Ukraine delegation, was aware of my intention or of my remarks before I delivered them.”

“The initiative was entirely my own, the individual in question being from my riding and having been brought to my attention,” he added, adding his “deepest apologies” to Jewish communities.

Following Zelenskiy’s address in the House of Commons, Rota acknowledged Hunka, who was seated in the gallery, praising him for fighting for Ukrainian independence against the Russians. Hunka received two standing ovations from those gathered.

“At a time of rising antisemitism and Holocaust distortion, it is incredibly disturbing to see Canada’s Parliament rise to applaud an individual who was a member of a unit in the Waffen-SS, a Nazi military branch responsible for the murder of Jews and others,” the Friends of Simon Wiesenthal Center said in a statement while demanding an apology earlier Sunday.

“An explanation must be provided as to how this individual entered the hallowed halls of Canadian Parliament and received recognition from the Speaker of the House and a standing ovation,” the group added.

Canada (my country) is the most important US lackey because is an underpopulated country, second largest after Russia and one of the richest in the world. Accordingly it has options which poorer and smaller nations don’t have. Not to mention the fact that the great Pierre Elliot Trudeau was the most hated Canadian PM in US history for many a reason. Staunch denouncer of the illegal and criminal Vietnam War, who gave asylum to tenths of thousands of young American kids who refused to be recruited. Many of whom never left the country and choose to marry local girls. He was also a personal friend of Fidel Castro and visited the country with his family, there are pictures in the web of him holding baby Justin in his arms. As if that was not enough created Petro Canada, to have full control of the country oil riches, corporation privatized by traitor Conservative PM Brian Mulroney, close friend of Union buster Ronald Reagan. Today Pierre’s son, has reached extremes of degeneracy betraying his own country and his father legacy. Just disgusting.

Like the movie ‘Once is not enough’, Justin Trudeau redoubled his effort to defend the indefensible by blaming the disgusting Nazi support incident, on Russian disinformation!!!!!
My wife’s insightful comment to this event was: ‘Trudeau’s actions are going to saddle Canada with a even worst alternative, a Conservative government’. This old girl is a natural born philosopher. Abandon all hope, this country is lost for all eternity I say.

The truth is; WWI & WWII were Jew wars against Caucasian people. That we Caucasians were fooled into both wars and controlled by international Jewry, is simply our regretful reality,

As a Canadian, our parliamentarians are a disgrace. They couldn’t have done an iota of research beforehand?! They all have aides! They all have time! Don’t tell me that it lay people like me could easily do a simple search but these lot can’t?! All to impress the neonazis Zelenskyyi?! Eff Trudeau and his boyfriend Zelenskyyi.
Just another day in Canada under the utterly incompetent Liberal boobs

I’m afraid that they are much worst that incompetent, the fact is that the deputy Canadian PM Khristia Freeland, is of pure Ukrainian stock and her family had a long association with Stepan Bandera Ukrainian leader of the Nazi SS battalions who fought on Germany’s side in WWII.
Her grandfather had a newspaper that supported Germany during that period event clearly documented but denied by the Liberal party and the whole of the local press.
This means that Canada is half step away of having a Nazi PM running the country affairs if she succeeds Justin Trudeau as leader of the Liberal Party.

Our parliament is one of trained seals who clap on demand and give standing ovations at the drop of a hat. It is more like a chorus of groupies. I have yet to hear a Canadian politician speak out against the wars tearing the collective West apart. We pretend to be a sovereign state when our vassalage to the empire is replete.

What bothers me so much concerning the Ukraine/Russia War is that virtually no media in North America ever mentions is the coup that the U.S. through, its CIA and NED (National Endowment for Democracy, executed in Ukraine in 2014. Ukraine, on the Russian border, had traditionally been an ally of Russia, and it had also been part of the Soviet Union. We continually get fed the nonsense meme of “Russian aggression,” repeated parrot-like by the likes of Hillary Clinton and other War Democrats. By conducting the pro-Western takeover of Ukraine and then setting up missiles aimed at Russian targets, the US was certainly the aggressor. The Neoconservatives (Neocons), who have been present in administrations of both parties since the presidency of George W. Bush, have harbored a plan to surround and choke off Russia. Sounds like aggression to me, American aggression. What would the US do if Russia became friends of Mexico and set up a military garrison on the Mexican side of our border? We know very well that the US would be sending troops down into Mexico. In 1962, when, following the failed US invasion of Cuba at the Bay of Pigs, Cuba asked for help from its ally, the Soviet Union. The Soviets sent missiles to Cuba. That was the reason for the US blockade of Cuba in what was called the Cuban Missile Crisis. If we would not stand for Russian missiles in Cuba during the Cold War, then Russia has every right to keep the US from putting missiles in Ukraine. It is US meddling in Ukraine, many thousands of miles from our shores, that set up the Russian military operation there. Had the US not conducted a coup in Ukraine and then supplied it with missiles to aim at Russia, the Russia-Ukraine War never would have occurred and we would not today be staring down the barrel of a Third World War. God forbid that such a thing should happen. I am an American in my late seventies. I spent close to forty years teaching US history on the University level. Yes, we have had a relatively free and open society here, but we have also intervened in other nations some 215 times since the end of World War Two. I agree with RFK, Jr., that we need to stop trying to run the whole world and beginning attending to our internal problems, such as fixing higher education, which now has astronomical costs that follow graduates around for most of their lives. A fraction of what we spend on the weapons of the military industrial congressional complex would give free college to as many Americans as want it. Time to clean our own house!

Our parliament in Australia celebrates war criminals too. When George Bush (Jr) was invited to address the Australian parliament only one Australian MP stood up to the blood thirsty war criminal. The parliamentarian was ejected from the house and George Bush was not required to answer any questions.

Do you find zionism to be quite compatible with fascism and Anglo Imperial Exceptionalism?

I refer to a visit by Bibi Netanyahu to Ukraine where he embraced Poroshenko in fraternal show of support.
Recently Bibi again repeated the visit this time with fellow Zio-Nazi Zelensky. Jews supporting Nazis after the holocaust took 6 million of their innocent brothers and sisters in mass genocide?
      Incredible but true.
