Ukraine’s vaunted “spring counteroffensive” has now dragged into the fall and doesn’t appear likely to accomplish much besides sending more healthy young soldiers into the meat grinder of this horrible war. Yet the mainstream media continues to dodge this very real point and try to paint Ukraine as making slow progress in pushing Russia back.
