Sergey Lavrov criticizes U.S. role in NATO expansion in Europe

Lavrov describes Western world as “empire of lies” that fails to fulfill its commitments

By TASS

“The Americans and the Europeans, who are used to looking down their noses at the rest of the world, are eager to make promises and undertake commitments, including written and legally binding ones, but are reluctant to fulfill them,” Lavrov said

UNITED NATIONS, September 24. /TASS/. The United States and its European allies are an “empire of lies,” which is eager to undertake commitments that it is not going to fulfill, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov told the general political debate of the 78th General Assembly of the United Nations.

“The Americans and the Europeans, who are used to looking down their noses at the rest of the world, are eager to make promises and undertake commitments, including written and legally binding ones, but are reluctant to fulfill them,” Lavrov said.

“As Russian President Vladimir Putin has said, the West is truly an ‘empire of lies,’” the top Russian diplomat continued.

Lavrov went on to say that many of those who spoke from the UN rostrum before him expressed the idea that “the planet is going through irreversible changes.”

“A new world order is being born right before our very eyes,” he added. “The future is taking shape in the process of a standoff between the global majority, which demands fairer distribution of global riches and advocates diversity within our civilization, and between the few who employ neo-colonial methods of subjugation in an attempt to save their fleeting dominance.”.

Both Lavrov and Putin in talks with our political people, make ours look like idiots in comparison. However that doesn’t take much. It never ceases to amaze me where the US finds people like Victoria Nuland, Lindsey Graham, and the rest of the people. It’s an embarrassment to watch them.

Over the past 30 years, the United States has never had to negotiate with anyone. Instead of negotiations, the United States preferred to use threats and the use of military force, and this naturally led to the complete degradation of American diplomacy. Without any exaggeration, at the moment the US diplomatic apparatus is a bunch of illiterate natives who have little idea what diplomacy is. Therefore, it is not surprising that they look like idiots.

Why are nearly all of our leaders mere dolts when compared to Lavrov and Putin?
