Former President Donald Trump called judges and prosecutors “corrupt” and “highly political” Tuesday after a New York court ruled that he and his family business had committed fraud by inflating his net worth.

“It is a terrible reminder that the Radical Left Democrats will stop at nothing in trying to prevent me, and the American people, from winning the 2024 presidential election,” Mr. Trump wrote in one of multiple statements he posted on Truth Social. “Regardless of Party, we cannot let this happen in the United States of America!”

In a civil lawsuit brought by New York Attorney General Letitia James, a state judge found that the former president and his company misled banks, insurers and others by exaggerating his net worth to get larger loans and better insurance rates.

Judge Arthur Engoron also ruled that some of Mr. Trump’s business licenses be rescinded and that he would have an independent monitor watch the operations of the Trump Organization.

“I am worth much more than the numbers shown on my financial statements. I didn’t even include my most valuable asset, my brand,” Judge Engoron wrote. “The banks were paid back in full, sometimes early, there were no defaults, the banks made money, were represented by the best law firms, & were very ‘happy.’ There were no victims.”

In a nonjury trial starting early next month, Ms. James will seek $250 million in penalties and to ban Mr. Trump from doing business in New York.

In his statements, Mr. Trump called for “help from the highest Courts in New York State, or the Federal System, to intercede” because his “civil rights have been violated.”

America ambitious nature, keeps beating records at all levels. Obliterating every single article in the US constitution, subverting the justice system to favor the rich and powerful, creating a monster (biggest in the world) for profit incarcerating system, electoral fraud, dismantling the industrial capacity of the country (except for high margin of benefit military industries) and the final straw that will break the camel’s back, bankrupting the US economy. How is it possible that some deluded minds dare to criticize Capitalism as a dead end regime? Certainly they are deranged to even suggest such accusations.

I’m not sure if you are being facetious or not.
It seems to me that you were clearly making the point that Capitalism is dead.

My guess is that there is truth in these latest anti-Trump lawfare. Such is the nature of Trump. You have to break eggs to make an omlet, and Trump could not have been so successful without dodgy dealings.

However, that is not the only reason that they are going after Trump. Just as with Russel Brand, had Trump not been making anti-war noises, the establishment would have gladly looked the other way. In fact, Trump has been attacked from the get go (Russiagate etc) in order to force him to make more war.

Trump’s corruption is minor when compared to that of Joe Biden, and the establishment has gone to great lengths to hide the corruption of Joe Biden, including removing any accounts from Twitter, Facebook and Youtube that dared to mention Hunter Biden’s laptop in the lead up to the last election.

My guess turned out to be WRONG. The judge’s findings are ridiculous. Trump has not been fraudulent in this case. It is the judge’s findings that are fraudulent:-

The judge has found that Trump has overvalued his Maralago property when applying for a loan. But none of this makes sense:-
      * Normally, banks do their own research prior to issuing loans.
      * The banks are not contributing to these complaints.
      * And yet all of Trump’s assets in New York have been placed into receivership.
Please bear in mind that receivership normally happens when someone is bankrupt
or otherwise cannot pay debts, but these loans have long been REPAID.

The judge has evaluated Maralago at $18M, but independent estimates (including Forbes) put the value of Maralago at $200M to $250M.

The judge has made no effort whatsoever at even appearing to be fair.
