The Plan Is To Turn Palestine Into A Historical Footnote So It’s Too Late To Save It

The genocidal atrocities against the Palestinians will be something kids learn about in history class.

By Caitlin Johnstone

The Zionist plan for the Palestinians is to kill them and drive them off their land by whatever cruelty is necessary, with the understanding that one day people will look back on it in the same way they look back on the genocides of other indigenous populations, saying “Yeah it was bad, but that was in the past so there’s nothing we can do about it.”

The Zionists take a long view of history, understanding that all the outrage and backlash they’re facing over Gaza right now will one day be irrelevant if they can carry out their plan for the territory today. They know that future generations of Israeli settlers will be able to say “Sure there was an ethnic cleansing in Gaza and a bunch of mass atrocities were committed, but that all happened before I was born; I had nothing to do with it. What do you want me to do, give up the home I’ve lived in all my life? That’s nuts.”

And they’re absolutely right: if Israel succeeds in driving the Palestinians out of Gaza (and assuming humanity doesn’t destroy itself via nuclear armageddon or environmental collapse), that is exactly the future they can expect to have. The genocidal atrocities against the Palestinians will be something kids learn about in history class. Israel itself might even be able to be a lot more honest about what happened, once the Palestinian problem has been fully resolved and the threat of a Palestinian state no longer exists.

So they do what they need to do in the meantime, with the understanding that this will one day all be rubbed away by the sands of time. They commit what atrocities they need to commit, they lie in whatever ways they need to lie, and they exert influence wherever they need to exert influence until they can get this thing locked down. Once they have, they can sit back and let old father time do the rest of the work for them.

That’s why it’s so important to oppose this thing now: because once Palestine is erased, it’s highly unlikely that it can ever be restored. We see what an uphill battle it is to obtain any rights at all for indigenous populations in other nations founded on genocidal settler-colonialism, and they haven’t even been driven out of their national borders into foreign countries.

The sins of the present and the recent past are much, much easier to correct than the sins of the distant past. That’s why the Zionists are so keen to move these atrocities into the “sins of the distant past” category.

You said: We see what an uphill battle it is to obtain any rights at all for indigenous populations in other nations founded on genocidal settler-colonialism, and they haven’t even been driven out of their national borders into foreign countries.

Can you be specific as to where indigenous populations are denied any rights following colonisation by others? You cannot make that claim about Western nations where the native peoples have long been citizens with full and equal rights, so where are you talking about?

One thing which is dishonest about the Palestine situation is where people try to conflate, as do you, other settler-colonisations with what Israel is doing. None of them are the same for the simple reason that yes, there was a virtually genocidal policy in the United States, nearly two centuries ago – ponder that for context – but there was not in places like Australia or New Zeland where great effort was made to preserve and support native peoples and they were made citizens very quickly. The Canadians also worked to respect the rights of native peoples.

The colonisation of the Americas began in the 16th century and in Australia in the very late 18th century and they simply cannot be compared to what Israel has done from the mid 20th century. Modern values and circumstances cannot be retrofitted to the past.

Colonisation of the Americas, Australia, New Zealand were part of the explorer mentality and need in centuries past. In fact without it the Irish would not have potatoes, the Indians chilli, the Italians tomatoes and none of us would have coffee or chocolate. All of that was very different to the European Zionists/Jews who came up with a plan to take someone else’s country, Palestine, and make it their own in an elitist, racist State.

You do yourself and the Palestinians a disservice by applying such a broad colonial brush to this issue.

However history is full of samples of open warfare of genocidal domination, that ended up in complete failure that backfired into the perpetrators. A recent case at world level being Nazi Germany. This time I’m fully convinced that the Zionist entity given the repeated military failures of Israel by Hamas, Hesbollah, Yemen’s Houtis with obvious solid support by powerhouse Iran from the barricades, that their demise as a national entity is just a matter of time. All of this despite and as a result, of the genocidal destruction of Gaza and the Palestinian people. I’m not a blind optimist, but a keen observer of the true results of the confrontation as reported by honest sources of information. “All’s well that ends well”, so said the Bard and so it will be.

Indigenous people in New Zealand were treated terribly. They have less rights than non-indigenous.

The British brought smallpox in jars in their ships, for their natives in Australia, just as they did for the natives in Canada. They wont tell you that in school, or in the media.

I live in Toowoomba Queensland. Lots of tourist here view Table Top mountain. There is no plaque to say, and they wont tell you in school, that Table Top mountain is where the surviving local aborigines were rounded up and slaughtered. Many places in Australia have a similar history.

Try looking up in Google Maps, the town of “Lambing Flats” in NSW. Its not there any more. That is because they renamed it to Young, in order to distance themselves from an unpleasant past event. But visit a museum in Young, and you can find out what happened.

What Israel wants to do is repeat this. But if Israel survives as a state, then in future decades, they wont tell you in school about what became of the Palestinians. They will say that Israelis have always occupied this land.

        We thought we had them

        We thought we had them
        Canned
        Tight-up sealed confined
        Sterile on shelves
        For time ourselves.

And a tidbit now and then.
        Just something anything, hon?
        Something I need to munch,
        With a bun.

        Edible, usable, digestible?
        Piecemeal gold, silk, or meat
        Workable, wearable, comestible?

        Surely something animal, or other.
We’re not greedy, though still needy
        After bloody mess, and brother!

Why, there’s even now a plaza
Near mia casa, where once was Gaza.
And who knows where was Gaza?

But no not no not nooo!
        Never again; them too?

Hit them, pound them, bomb them there.
As we fear, they’re still here!

Caitlin’s insight into one of the most sinister aspects of the Zionist Jews mentality is spot-on! With respect to their plans, the Zionist Jews don’t just think in terms of days, months, and years, they plan just as precisely in terms of decades, centuries, and beyond! Hence, their unprecedented, almost miraculous, success in manipulating the flow of historical events as they occur, especially war itself, to serve their agenda and enable them, to a degree that is truly astonishing, to remake a large part of the world (i.e., the west) in their own image. The Zionist Jews, despite their extreme numerical inferiority, play the long game like no one else, that is why the rest of the world is not able to cope with them. By the way, their “colossal reservoirs of wealth,” and profound lack of scruples when dealing with gentiles, have a lot to do with their success, as well!

At this point the world needs to take the advice of the great Henry Ford: “Know who your conqueror is, it is your ONLY chance of freeing yourself from their tyranny.”

Alfonso, I agree, about taking the “long view,” and here, the Jews are like the Chinese, who took decades for the Conquest of Tibet. Though I’m not sure if the Conquest of Palestine is taking even longer. By “Conquest” I mean the point where there’s no more resistance.

Read David Ben Gurion’s 1937 letter to his son Amos in which Ben Gurion explains the strategy, written ten years before the establishment of Israel:

Israel—murdering Palestinians since 1948. That’s 75 years of murdering. Isn’t that enough time? For those with souls—-YES, enough of Israel. Besides, when GOD didn’t come to Israeli aid in WW 2—-God MUST be dead—And Israel, as you seem to have no humanity at all—your souls must be dead too! Oh a happy ending—TIME to reboot for Palestine.

From a video I was given to understand that from small on, school children in israel are taught to hate Palestinians. So I ask…WHO are the animals? (don’t mean to insult animals)

Will the Israelis suffer the same fate as the Ukrainians? The US uses their proxy army to fight the muslims to the last Israeli.
