Now is the time for the United States, and in its wake the international community, to make a decision: Will the endless cycle of violence between Israel and the Palestinians continue, or are we going to try to put a stop to it? Will the United States continue to arm Israel and then bemoan the excessive use of these armaments, or is it finally prepared to take real steps, for the first time in its history, to change reality? And above all, will the cruelest Israeli attack on Gaza become the most pointless of all, or will the opportunity that came in its aftermath not be missed, for a change?
There is no point in appealing to Israel. The current government, and the one that is likely to replace it, does not and never will have the intention, courage or ability to generate change. When the prime minister responds to American talks about establishing a Palestinian state with words indicating that he “objects to coerced moves,” or that “an agreement will only be reached through negotiations,” all one can do is both laugh and cry.
Laugh, because over the years Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has done all he can to foil negotiations; cry, because Israel is the one employing coercion – the nature of its policy toward the Palestinians is coercion carried out in one big unilateral, violent, aggressive and arrogant move. All of a sudden, Israel is against acts of coercion? Irony hides its head in shame.
It is therefore pointless to expect the current Israeli government to change its character. To expect a government led by Benny Gantz, Gadi Eisenkot or Yair Lapid to do so is also painfully futile. None of them believe in the existence of a Palestinian state that is equal in its sovereign status and rights to Israel. The three of them together and each one separately will at most, on a really good day, agree to the establishment of a Bantustan on part of the land. A genuine solution will not be found here. It’s best to leave Israel to wallow in its refusal.
But the world cannot afford to let this opportunity pass. This is the world that will soon have to reconstruct, with its funds, the ruins of the Gaza Strip, until the next time Israel demolishes it. It is the world whose stability is undermined as long as the occupation persists, and is further undermined every time Israel embarks on another war. This is the world that agrees that the occupation is bad for it, but has never lifted a finger to bring it to an end. Now, an opportunity to do so has cropped up. Israel’s weakness and dependence following this war must be exploited, for Israel’s benefit as well.
Enough with words. Enough with the futile rounds of talks held by U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken and the barbed words uttered by President Joe Biden. They lead nowhere. The last Zionist president, perhaps the last one to care about what is happening in the world, must take action. One could, as a prelude, learn something from the amazingly simple and true words of European Union foreign policy chief Josep Borrell, who said: “Well, if you believe that too many people are being killed, maybe you should provide less arms [to Israel].”
However, the issue is not just ending the war, but mainly, what will happen when it’s over. If it depended on Israel, under any government, we would return to the warm bosom of apartheid and to living by the sword. The world cannot accept this any longer and cannot leave the choice to Israel. Israel has spoken: No. The time has come for a Dayton Accords-like solution. It was a forced and imperfect agreement reached in Bosnia-Herzegovina that put an end to one of the cruelest wars, and in contrast to all predictions, it has held for 29 years. The agreement was imposed by coercion.
A Palestinian state may no longer be a viable solution because of the hundreds of thousands of settlers who ruined the chances for establishing one. But a world determined to find a solution must pose a clear choice for Israel: sanctions, or an end to the occupation; territories or weapons; settlements or international support; a democratic state or a Jewish one; apartheid, or an end to Zionism. When the world stands firm, posing these options in such a manner, Israel will have to decide. Now is the time to force Israel to make the most fateful decision of its life.

Yes it’s 80 years too late however these white Ashkenazi have been causing problems all over the world since their inception in 600 AD. They were behind the Bolshevik Holocaust upon Russians and Eastern Europeans plus they were a big part of the reason for WWI and II and this is only the tip of the iceberg. I spent over an hour doing a search on Woopy’s assertion and came up with zilch about “600 AD”.
Fritz, I think Woopy is referring to the fact that the “Mountain Jews,” descendants of Persian Jews, migrated from Persia to the Caucasus between 224-651 AD. Their ancestors settled on the Caspian Sea’s west coast in the 5-6th centuries. So it’s not that erroneous a statement.
As I understand it, there are three major ethnic subdivisions of the Jewish Diaspora: Ashkenazi, Sephardim, and Mizrahim. The Ashkenazi settled in the Rhineland and France, and they are by far the largest group, composing 70-80% of all Jews worldwide. Importantly, genetic studies suggest that 60-80% of Ashkenazi Jewish maternal ancestry comes from women indigenous to Europe, and only 8% from the Near East.
I would thus say that Woopy’s claims are far more factual than fiction, and this information is readily available on the www. I don’t understand why you’d waste so much time without results. Perhaps you need to improve your research skills.
Concerning the Israeli Jews, virtually all of the original Jewish Zionists – an extremely bigoted bunch – and well over 90% of existing Israeli Jews are descendants from Ashkenazi European Jews, justifying the claim that these invaders of Palestine are peoples that spent a thousand years and innumerable generations outside the Middle East. It seems their only connection to the “homeland” was their seasonal greeting, “Next year in Jerusalem.” It’s also legitimate to call them “Whites,” and in my experience, many US Jews regard themselves as White. They certainly look White. I believe today’s Palestinians have far more Semitic genes from the original ancient Jews than do these Ashkenazi Jews.
Thus, White European Jews succeeded in the modern day Conquest of Palestinian, which is mostly complete, except for some final stages that have rapidly accelerated with the recent ethnic cleansing by the Jews in Gaza, and even the West Bank.

When I read the “600” comment, I knew exactly what Woopy was referring to. And now you tell me that you still criticize him because he didn’t spoon feed you what he meant.

The issue is not peace but justice.
The world must force Israel to end both Zionism and the occupation.
The world must force right of return for Palestinians to their homeland.
The world must force Israel and its supporters to fully cover the cost of caring for the refugees and rebuilding all they have destroyed.
The world must force every illegal Jewish settler out of Occupied Palestine.
The world must force either a two State solution with a bigger State for Palestinians because there are more of them and it is their homeland, or one State shared by the Israeli colonists and the native Palestinians where everyone has equal rights and religion is secondary to citizenship.
How about all white Jews leave the land that they are occupying and have the Chinese build a fake island for them free of charge. Build the island in shark infested water to insure they never leave the island.

I commend Levy for his appeal to the world of nations, but he really should be appealing to his fellow Jews, because it’s The Tribe, stupid.
I call on Levy and all Jews to reject the goals and intentions of their current leaders, both inside and outside Israel, to complete the Conquest of Palestine as originally planned by the early White, European Jews, such as Herzl, Ben Gurion, Jabotinsky, Weizman, etc.
I call on all individual Jews that you either divorce yourself of The Tribe, or if you choose to still identify as part of Judaism, know full well that you must bear the condemnation of the rest of the world for these heinous acts that Judaism is responsible for. I encourage you to bring about a schism within Judaism whereby part of the Tribe can rid itself of the horrible immoral infection it has succummed to. If you have even an inkling of how US politics works, you’ll understand the political implications of this army of extremely well funded lobbyists. The leaders of over 270 of these organizations are US Jews, and they are overwhelmingly supported by the US Jewish community. To call it an “Israel Lobby” is deception and convenient as a way to divert attention from the true perpetrators. It’s true that many US Jews are embarrassed by what the Israeli Jews do, but they are still in overwhelming agreement in their support. It’s been that way for a hundred years, and it’s because The Tribe must survive above all other human concern. That’s how the vast majority of Jews are brainwashed as children. That’s why The Tribe survived for thousands of years. Exceptions do not disprove the rule, and they are obviously too small to affect such overwhelming Jew Power.
So how do you explain the list? If you cannot, know well that your beliefs cannot stand up to, nor explain, nor even understand, the political lobbying power of Judaism. When you severely condemn Israel, who are you criticizing, an inanimate political entity or Israeli Jews? Do you mean also the Arabs, Druids, and Christians who are (second class) citizens of Israel?
